A countryside resort in Mulshi, near Pune.

Seven Seeds Countryside is a boutique resort in Mulshi Taluka, 70 minutes from Pune city and about 3 hours from Mumbai. Seven rooms sit between paddy fields and the Sahyadri hills, and each one has its own plunge pool, jacuzzi, garden courtyard or deck.

Guests drive in from Pune and Mumbai for weekend getaways, anniversaries and family breaks. Sleep in, take your chai out to the fields, walk the forest trail, or spend the afternoon in your pool. Breakfast, high tea and a buffet dinner come with every stay.

The name comes from a belief we live by: plant one new thing each day, whether that is an idea, an effort or a fresh start. A seed takes many seasons to become a tree, and small daily actions add up the same way.

The land

The Sahyadri hills and paddy fields of Mulshi.

The Sahyadri range rises on one side of the property and paddy fields run along the other. From June to September the hills turn green and a stream flows through the forest trail.

How far is Seven Seeds from Pune and Mumbai?

Seven Seeds is in Mulshi Taluka, about 70 minutes by car from Pune city, 90 minutes from Pune airport and 3 hours from Mumbai. There is parking on the property. We send directions and a live location pin on WhatsApp 48 hours before you arrive, and can arrange a car with a driver from Pune for a separate fee.

Do the rooms have private pools?

Two suites have private plunge pools: The Lunar Pool and The Oasis Suite, which has a heated pool. Tranquilium Retreat and Serenity Cove each have a private jacuzzi. The Seedling Suite has a private garden courtyard, and the two Canopy glamping tents have private decks. See the private pool suites or the glamping tents.

What’s included in the room rate?

Your rate includes a welcome drink, high tea, snacks, a buffet dinner and breakfast, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Drinking water and WiFi are included too. Lunch is served on pre-booking only, and a curated dinner at the gazebo can be arranged in advance (T&C apply). All rates are subject to 18% GST.

What’s the food like?

Our kitchen cooks one menu a day, built around what comes in from the kitchen garden that morning. Most dishes are Indian and seasonal, and the chef will adjust for dietary needs. Tell us about allergies and preferences when you book.

Is Seven Seeds couple friendly?

Yes. The Lunar Pool and The Oasis Suite each come with a private plunge pool, and Tranquilium Retreat and Serenity Cove have private jacuzzis. With seven rooms on the property, evenings stay quiet, and unmarried couples are welcome with valid photo ID. More on stays for couples.

Is it child-friendly?

Yes. Children enjoy the kitchen garden, the bullocks and the open fields. We have cribs, extra beds and a shelf of children’s books, and we can serve dinner earlier for young families.

Do you have WiFi?

Yes, in every room and across the common areas, with enough speed for video calls.

Can I bring my dog?

We’re sorry, we can’t take pets. We share the property with farm animals, ducks and free-roaming cats. Ask us and we’ll suggest pet-friendly stays nearby.

What if I need to cancel?

Refunds are tiered and calculated after excluding 18% GST: 100% with 21 or more days’ notice, 70% for 14 to 21 days, 50% for 7 to 14 days, and no refund within 7 days of arrival. You can also postpone or prepone once, subject to availability, and we’ll issue a credit note valid for 6 months. Full details are in the cancellation policy above.

When is the best time to visit Mulshi?

October to February brings the coolest weather and clear skies. The monsoon, from June to September, turns the hills green and brings mist, though expect rain most days. April and May are hot, quieter and better priced.

Do you host weddings or large events?

We host small celebrations with a full property buyout. The property suits intimate gatherings rather than large weddings. Message us on WhatsApp with your plans and we’ll send a proposal.
